AROUND THE TRANSLATION
Translation has been a part very important for a lot time, but there are three aspects very important that identify Duff (1989), who tell us some important and true, "teachers and students now use translation to learn, rather than learning translation"
These aspects are three essential purposes of the translator these are accuracy, clarity and flexibility. This combination allow to the students produce impressive communicative results, because each one is the complement of the other. In the process of translation, the students need learn to think from the meaning of the words, allowing thought Assimilate the meaning of words according to the social or cultural context, As students are deeply engaged with the content of the literary text and its meaning through the translation process, they enhance their awareness and understanding of their own society and culture. Furthermore, they learn to extend that awareness and understanding to other peoples, cultures, and issues on a global scale wherein we all share a common humanity. Indeed, this experience starts in the classroom itself where a genuine collaborative process makes up the essential methodology for this kind of translation. There are different types of translation but to which Duff refers I think it is the most important, because it contains certain features that allow a good translation if it is possible to develop the ability to use the three characteristics proposed by this author.

TRANSLATION AS A LEARNING TOOL
ResponderEliminarTranslation is a process that allows us to acquire skills to find meaning and to understand the information and ideas of a text. Hence it is not an indifferent activity as they display the assets and maintain a series of complex relationships with the text.
We could consider that the translation is fundamental for the study of a foreign language, since it is essential to assimilate the contents and to express our ideas adequately.
The translation must be considered as that fundamental tool that allows us to improve our understanding of a foreign language. Right now, as you read this article, if you do it comprehensively, understand what you try to do and allow it to apply in your studies. But if you can also use your critical sense, decide if you agree with me, if you would make any comments and input.
At present, we are daily exposed to a quantity of information that does not surpass and great amount of it is in another language within which they are in the English language leading this great amount of information. That is why we must perform a critical translation to decide what is essential, basic and secondary secondary and complementary. Thanks to our critical sense, we determine the ideas we share and the others that do not lead us to start a debate to express our opinion when translating into our native language or the required language and choose translation as a profession. If we acquire these skills as a value added to our life to enrich it, as we translate we can enrich our vocabulary, improve our grammatical awareness and we will reach a deep domain of the language for what will have a positive impact on our interculturality.
